Hi, I’m Jayce Jeong (정승용).
At university I study electrical and electronic engineering subjects together with data structures and web programming. I like building what I learn, so I run two machines at home and operate AI models, a chat service, a personal cloud and backups end to end.
Interests
- AI — local language models, answers that show their sources, and automatic grading of answer quality
- Backend — small, safe services: input validation, separated privileges, and designs that do not collapse when something fails
- Databases — data modelling, retention periods and data minimisation, backups you can actually restore
This site
This blog started as a hand-written static page (the one with the brick-breaker game). I then wrote a full set of design documents first and implemented that design to get what you see now. I write about the process in Posts.
